I am so excited to be a part of this show!! I am an incredibly lucky lady to be on a list with all of these awesome artists! I have a booth of art of my take on many of the Sanrio characters. I created about 100 pieces of art for this show! AAHHH. It has been my main project for the past few months! Sanrio was such a big part of my life growing up I feel really special to be a part of this show! I posted a couple of designs I worked up below - but I am not allowed to show the actual art until after the opening. I'll be posting here on Friday! EEE!

Jamie from JapanLA has been so nice in asking me to be a part of this - and the Sanrio people have given me such nice feedback about what I have worked up. I am going to be teaching a couple of workshops on the 20th - I will post more details on those as they come.

Here is the basic info for the show, Please come out!

Hi! Hey! Hello! Happy New Year everyone!

I feel like I have fallen off the internet! I had a big deadline for my book that I freaked out about, and I took the last week off from book happenings to work on some other things!

It's been rainy this weekend so I stayed inside and re-did my website. Check it out. I think I am going to spend the rest of the day making my wedding invitations.

I am trying to cram as much stuff as I can into this time in my life. A bunch of Crowded Teeth product is being released this spring that I am stoked about! Here is some info. from my front page:

For now the Crowded Teeth shop is a little sad, but there are other exciting product developments! PQ2 is releasing a line of greeting cards featuring Crowded Teeth graphics from the 25 Project. Also, Loungefly is manufacturing a mini-line of products exclusively for Hot Topic stores - and a separate line for specialty stores.

Books!
I'm making books! I am going to self publish the 25 Project book, but I am taking my time putting it together. The Paper Craft book is being published by HOW Books and will be available in 2010!

Visit the site for more info.

It will be separate from the '25 project' book and will have 35 paper craft goodies and be approx. 128 pages long. I will be using some of the projects from August but also coming up with some new stuff.

The book will be out next Fall!
Yay!
Come out and say hi!
